The My Health Online (MHOL) system allowing patients to link to their GP practice records has extended the range of available facilities.

Public Health Wales has announced that, subject to practices configuring their system to offer patients the service, patients can now view their medicines and allergy records online.

In addition, demonstrations of the MHOL summary record access for EMIS and for Vision are available, as are practice configuration guides relating to the two software systems. PHW says that “Vision practices must have migrated to the new MHOL website for this functionality to be available to them (the Vision practice migration planned completion date is December 8 2017).”

The NHS Wales Informatics Service is working with a small number of practices to make sure the functions and guidance are suitable for practices and patients around Detailed Coded Record Access, and online demonstrations are also available. Any practice interested in becoming one of the first sites to offer this service should contact a member of the Primary Care Team (This email address is being protected from spambots.
