Contractors asked to give feedback on Quality Payment Service

Community pharmacy teams are being asked to provide feedback on the Quality Payments Scheme (QPS) in England.
PSNC has advised that NHS England is evaluating the implementation of the QPS, and the evaluation team is looking for a representative sample of pharmacists to provide feedback, both positive and negative.
“They are particularly keen to hear from pharmacists and pharmacy teams working in community pharmacies and from independent pharmacy owners,” said PSNC. “The feedback will involve a 15-20 minute telephone interview.”
Questions will ask about:
- how QPS was experienced;
- views on the criteria;
- the relevance of the criteria for the pharmacy;
- the impact of the scheme and the positive or negative consequences;
- the financial impact, time and work impact; and
- the changes since the scheme was introduced.
An e-questionnaire may be possible.
