NHS Business Services Authority has published the list of Category M prices for medicines which will come into effect from April 1. The new list contains 565 different items.

It has also made two further amendments to the March Drug Tariff regarding Part VIIIA reimbursement prices, following on from an announcement on March 12.

Those announced on March 16 are as follows:

•    clonidine 25microgram tablets - £6.99
•    digoxin 62.5microgram tablets - £4.99
•    digoxin 125microgram tablets - £4.99
•    digoxin 250microgram tablets - £4.99
•    exemestane 25mg tablets - £45.74
•    lofepramine 70mg tablets - £24.12
•    mebeverine 135mg tablets - £18.00
•    olsalazine 250mg capsules - £75.00
•    olsalazine 500mg tablets - £85.00
•    pizotifen 1.5mg tablets - £7.81
•    tamoxifen 20mg tablets - £3.93
•    trandolapril 2mg capsules - £7.50
•    trimethoprim 100mg tablets - £7.55
•    trimethoprim 200mg tablets 6s - £2.98
•    trimethoprim 200mg tablets 14s - £6.95

Those announced on March 17 are as follows:

•    lisinopril 20mg / Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg tablets - £8.00
•    pizotifen 500microgram tablets - £7.00
