Its ‘What’s new in BNF 74’ contains 10 studies to help pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pre-registration trainees keep abreast of changes made in the 74th edition of the BNF. The training package is an interactive pdf where users can write their case study answers.

Completing the training package is expected to take around one hour. It requires users to have read the section of the BNF listing the key changes for the new edition. Clinical areas covered in the case studies are:

  • low back pain
  • renal impairment
  • crohn’s disease
  • hyoscine butylbromide
  • constipation in pregnancy
