Pharmacy Forum NI is hosting a training evening on getting the most out of social media next month. The event will also see the launch of the Forum’s new Social Media Guidance for pharmacists.

Taking place in Belfast on March 15, the event has been designed to help pharmacists be more aware of ways to develop social media presence, extend professional connections online, and build a business profile. Aspects to be covered include:

  • the new Social Media Guidance document;
  • choosing the right digital platform;
  • setting up and safely maintaining accounts;
  • developing effective content to drive digital communication;
  • how to stay safe online, avoid scams and protect a profile and business.

Among the speakers will be Lisa Morrow, Community Manager at Glaze Digital,  a Google Certified digital and community marketing specialist.

The two-hour event is free to attend, but places are limited, so contact Pharmacy Forum NI in advance to reserve a place.
